Scott began dancing in 1998 in a cramped rockabilly club without AC and with a poorly taught lesson where he could barely see what was going on... "and it was awesome!" Since then, Scott has become a lifer and has had the opportunity to teach throughout the country as well as be a part of a number of large events. Austin, TX is home base and is where he founded The Lindy Project, which teaches weekly classes, teams, and workshops. He is also a founder of Lone Star Championships, a party and competition event weekend in Austin, Texas which runs each January.
